CLEAN WORLD ANNOUNCES RESELLER AGREEMENT WITH SOMMER FOR PHILIPPINES

Caloocan, PH – January, 20th 2017: Clean World announced today a partnership with Sommer Messtechnik , a leading manufacturer of sensors and environmental monitoring equipment. This agreement allows Clean World to develop sales of Sommer throughout the Philippines.

Clean World will be responsible for the promotion and product distribution of the full Sommer product range, including the RQ-30 non-contact discharge radar and the RP-30 radar profiler.

NON-CONTACT DISCHARGE RADAR RQ-30 / RQ-30A

The RQ-30 is a sensor for continuous discharge measurement of rivers, open channels and canals with known cross-section profile. The sensor uses innovative radar technology to measure velocity, water level and discharge. It enables reliable, non-contact measurement without the need for structural work in the water.

The RQ-30 enables discharge measuerment for rivers, streams, open channels and canals for which continuous monitoring is desired. Thanks to the non-contact radar technology the measuring equipment is not susceptible to contamination, debris or driftwood in the water. Furthermore, the non-contact measurement warrants very low maintenance and fail-safe operation especially during high water or flooding.

RADAR PROFILER RP-30

With the mobile measuring device RP-30 (Radar Profiler) a surface velocity profile from rivers and channels is created and together with the data of the river cross-section and water level the discharge is determined. - A very helpful measuring device especially for the use in flood conditions.

The RP-30 is used in rivers, streams and open channels and calculates the exact discharge of the body of water through several sectional velocity measurements. As is the case with the RQ-30, this method of measurement is also based on innovative radar technology including all the advantages of a non-contact measuring device.

The Radar Profiler is ideally suited for situationally and non-permanent monitoring tasks, for project evaluations or control measurements. In contrary to most other measuring devices it provides reliable values even in flood situations, which is an extremely interesting situation from a hydrological point of view and where most other sensors fail to be used. Therefore the RP-30 is particularly useful in flooding and natural hazard management.
